Review week - 1 sent, 60 staged, one Sunday doc that never arrivedReview

The week in two counts and a miss: 1 sent against 60 staged, seven briefings inked seven nights running, and a Sunday doc that was built but never delivered.

Why this matters to you

Production kept its pace (nine package sets this week, four on one Sunday afternoon, Threads and the Desk, the Federalist pages, the gitleaks hook, two dark-preview fixes). The send count did not move. And the system's own weekly loop skipped a beat without anyone noticing for seven days.

Counts from the 10-11 review. Tracker: 1 sent, 42 packaged, 18 drafted, 12 closed. Briefings 10-5 to 10-11: 9 GO, 6 NO, five GO at priority 1 (OpenAI for Government, ButterflyMX, Movement Labs, The 19th CPO with a 10-19 deadline, Storied). Tablet: 289 documents, 145 FOR REVIEW, 42 lessons. Desk: 56 threads waiting on you.

The miss: the 10-4 weekly review ran, built and exited before its paper gate finished (lesson 10-13). Its three asks - Sonnet 5.5 in the work slot, the You-should-know watcher, the three overdue Submit tasks - were folded into the 10-11 paper. The three Submit tasks are now 25 days past their 9-24 date; Groundwork's posting closed 10-6.

The pattern across three review weeks is unchanged: packages accumulate, sends do not. The Send Desk's Submitted gate exists for exactly this; the Desk now counts the loops; the only missing input is still one application chosen and sent.

Worked example

Re-run the counts yourself and compare to the ones above.

cd /Users/tom/Claude/JobHunt && for s in drafted packaged ready-to-send sent closed; do printf "%s: " $s; grep -c "\*\*$s\*\*" tracker.md; done
head -3 /Users/tom/Claude/PDB/data/threads/ledger.md
python3 -c "import json;d=json.load(open('/Users/tom/Claude/PDB/data/rm-device-listing.json'));print(len(d), sum('FOR REVIEW' in x['name'] for x in d), sum('LESSON' in x['name'] for x in d))"
ls /Users/tom/Claude/PDB/data/decisions/ | grep jobhunt-briefing-ink-2026-10-1
▶ Do it now
  1. Run the counts. If 'sent' is still 1, name the one application you will submit this week and the day.
  2. Mark it Active on the Send Desk (http://127.0.0.1:8780) and move it through Live and Warm path today.
  3. On the Desk, close five 'waiting on you' items by doing them or dropping them. Tomorrow's strip is the witness.

One-card takeaway

Production moved, decisions moved, the loop counted itself; one send is still the number that matters.
