Day 92 of 92 · Monday · Learning

Review week - 55 staged, 1 sent, 232 documents on the deviceReview

Two weeks running, the headline is the same: production works, the send step does not. This week added the desk aimed at that step, inked every briefing, and doubled the pile on the device. Count what moved, then pick one send.

Catch-up progress
92/92
Why this matters to you

The 10-4 numbers: 55 staged (16 drafted, 39 packaged), 1 sent since 8-31, 12 closed. Six briefings inked six nights running — 9 GO, 8 NO. Fifteen package sets reached the device, 75 papers, next to 37 lessons none of which is tagged done; 232 documents in all against a budget the audit now calls obsolete. The Send Desk is live and waiting on three inputs only you can supply. Groundwork closed 10-06; Gavel's kill-or-revive is 10-14.

What moved: the nine-session audit fix plan ran and closed; the Send Desk went from spec to live (phases 1–3a) in one day; Scott Memo v2 went live behind Cloudflare Access with a security pass that found and closed a real exposure the same afternoon; every nightly briefing came back with ink, so the GO/NO channel is working at the cadence it was designed for.

What did not: a send. The three Submit tasks from 9-20 are open and ten days past their date; Coursera expired 9-29 with a finished package and no task; the device backlog grew from 107 to 232 because packages are built in fives and lessons are never released. The desk's own inputs — writing samples, Connections.csv, outreach templates — sat empty all week.

The question for this week is not whether the system can produce more. It is whether one application leaves the Mac. The desk reduces that to four visible gates; the paper briefing keeps choosing; the Things tasks are the third ledger that the 10-4 weekly proposes closing (D3).

Worked example

Two counts: the tracker by stage, and the device by kind.

awk -F'|' 'NR>3 && NF>5 {print $5}' /Users/tom/Claude/JobHunt/tracker.md \
  | grep -oE '\*\*[a-z-]+\*\*' | sort | uniq -c

python3 - <<'EOF'
import json, re, collections
docs = json.load(open('/Users/tom/Claude/PDB/data/rm-device-listing.json'))['docs']
c = collections.Counter()
for x in docs:
    n = x['name']
    k = ('lesson' if 'LESSON' in n else
         'package paper' if re.search(r' (Fit|Prep|Cover|Resume|Research) — FOR REVIEW', n) else
         'other FOR REVIEW' if 'FOR REVIEW' in n else 'reading / reference')
    c[k] += 1
print(len(docs), dict(c))
EOF
▶ Do it now
  1. Run both counts and write the four device numbers on this page.
  2. On the tablet, tag done every lesson and every package paper you have already read. A blank done records nothing and frees the device overnight.
  3. Write on this lesson the one application you will submit this week and the day — then open the Send Desk and activate it, so the first gate shows.

Gotchas

One-card takeaway

The constraint has not moved in two weeks; the desk is the first tool aimed at it. Use it once this week.
